The KDC480’s 1010mAh Lithium-Ion battery will last more than 8 days on a single charge while connected in Bluetooth. The battery will last 20 days if not connected in Bluetooth.
Operation Time (1 scan every 10 seconds):
KDC480L: Over 7 days
KDC480D: Over 3 days
KDC480C: Over 3.5 days
For RFID use, the KDC485 provides consistent performance based on scan frequency. When reading RFID tags continuously (once per second), battery life exceeds 4 hours while connected via Bluetooth. With less frequent RFID scanning, the KDC485 can last up to 5 days on a single charge.
