Before You Begin

• Make sure your KDC is connected to the KTSync app.

Scan a Barcode

Android and iPhone / iPad (iOS)

1. Press the scan button on the KDC device.
2. Aim the scanner at the barcode while the scan beam is active.
3. Alternatively, tap the Scan button at the bottom of the KTSync app to trigger the scanner remotely.
4. When the barcode is successfully scanned, the data appears on the KTSync screen.

Notes:

• If the Scanner setting under Software Decoder Settings is not set to Hardware Only, KTSync uses the software decoder instead of the KDC scanner.
• If the KDC data process is set to Store Only, scanned data is saved on the KDC and is not transmitted to the app.
