How do I pair the device with Android or iOS?

Before You Begin

  • Turn on Bluetooth on both the mobile device and the KDC.
  • Make sure the KDC is configured for SPP mode with Always Pairing enabled.

Option 1: Pair Using Bluetooth Settings

Android

  1. Open Settings > Bluetooth.
  2. Scan for available devices if needed.
  3. Select your KDC from the list and tap Pair.

iPhone / iPad (iOS)

  1. Open Settings > Bluetooth.
  2. Select your KDC from the list and tap Pair.

Note: For BLE connections on iOS, your application may still need to scan for the KDC even if it is already paired in Bluetooth Settings.

Option 2: Pair Using KTSync (Recommended)

  1. Open the KTSync app.
  2. Tap Menu > Auto Pairing (SPP).
  3. Scan the pairing barcode displayed on the screen with the KDC.
  4. When the Bluetooth pairing request appears, tap Pair.

This method works the same on both Android and iOS.
